Since opening in 1999, Auto Edge has become North Iowa's leader in used car sales. This year's Reader's Choice Award marks the sixth year Auto Edge has been voted Best Used Car Dealership.
Owners, Dan and Janet Ryerson, attribute the success to making the car buying experience different than your average dealer. "We want the buying experience to be a positive one with no pressure and stress free," said Janet.

Every vehicle on the lot is required to pass a 56 point inspection. Auto Edge also offers a 3 month 3000 mile warranty on most of their vehicles to provide their customers with an additional protection from future vehicle repairs. The Ryerson's well trained, professional staff pride themselves on educating their customers in the overall buying experience. "We have friendly, experienced sales people who are willing to go that extra miles for our customers," said Dan.
For the past ten years we have made a commitment to North Iowa to offer the best products and to assure them of quality. We credit our dealership's success to the loyalty and support of our friends, family, neighbors and customers. We wouldn't be here without them. The Ryersons have also opened two additional location's in North Iowa. Because of Dan's passion for snowmobiles and his love for selling, they opened Mason City Powersports, a Yamaha, Arctic Cat, Polaris dealership, across the highway from Auto Edge and a new Ford store called Leading Edge Ford in Osage that has Sales and Service of Fords and any make of used models.
In July 2009 the Ryersons and the team from Auto Edge wanted to find a way to give back to North Iowa. Their goal was to make a difference in the life of a family in need. They accomplished their goal by creating a Wheels to Heal Program which was designed to give one family in need a used van. Auto Edge accepted letters from friends and family members of over 75 needy families in North Iowa who had no transportation, or a car on its last leg. After many days of trying to choose who was the most in need, the Ryersons and the team from Auto Edge could not decide on one. To everyone's surprise, Dan decided to give away not only one van but three. That was a very exciting day for everyone at Auto Edge, full of laughter, amazement and many tears from all. We gave from the heart and made a difference in three families lives.
In 2009 Auto Edge was presented with the Quality Dealer Award, with much appreciation form Auto Services Company, Inc.
